It just keeps getting worse. I don't know what the solution is or even if there is a solution. But Amazon has the brain power, and it needs to come up with an approach to address this problem.

At least that's an issue that's clear-cut. The material, though clearly made-up rather than real, purports to be by a well-known author and seems to be attempting in some ways to replace his own book. That's not a legal gray area at all.
