I spoke about this a while ago on another thread--can't find it, so I'll start anew.
My question was: should a boxed set be included as "boxed set" on ebook series OR be separated into its own boxed set series on Amazon?
I realized I kept seeing other authors creating specific series pages for boxed sets. So, I'm joining the club. I don't think it matters if you have only one boxed set. I've left my other shorter series with the ebooks. But if you start having multiple trilogies, I think it's worth it to create a "series" series for scooping up those extra sales.
So that's what I'm doing. I have books 1-3 and books 4-6 as books 1 AND 2. Title will be H.U.W. (I know, not exciting titling, but I really don't think it makes a difference. Plus three initial have a college vibe anyway grint)
I'll let you guys know if all this makes a difference. With Amazon's series button, I think it will.
For wide authors, I've chosen not to do it on other retailers. I'd love it if wide authors can chime in and convince me otherwise. I don't think the series page is as robust with the other retailers as with Amazon. I'm also not re-organizing audiobooks (for the same reasons).
