Just what the title says. Can be books, TV shows, movies, whatever. I'll start things out. How about E.T.: Jedi Knight?
-
Buckaroo Banzai Against the World Crime League
-
Cannonball Run: The Kessel Run
-
Firefly... :icon_cry:
-
The Fades (fantastic british supernatural drama - only one bloody series made!)
-
Firefly
The Messengers
Blade

Push and Rocknrolla were both pretty damn good and begging for sequels.

I want a terminator/snow white mashup in a steampunk world. Maybe have the seven dwarfs as a sapper team, and maybe snow white is like a amazonian-warrior that protects the kingdom or whatever...

Brisco County, Jr.

I wanna see Dr. Who and Q bicker with each other. :icon_lol2:

It's almost too mean to contemplate, but wouldn't it be interesting to see the gang from Parks and Rec thrust into Walking Dead territory?
Jerry gets eaten immediately.
Leslie rallies the community to battle with full-color charts.
Tom sells a branded line of weaponry that he's bedazzled.
Meanwhile, Ron Swanson lives his life as usual...

Frasier as the new counselor on Captain Picard's Enterprise.
Love it! :hehe
Another vote for Firefly.
I also absolutely loved Almost Human - so sad it got cancelled after one season.

Doctor Who and Star Trek.
That's been done more than once. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1613774036

When I wrote plays for a youth drama group with one of my sons one of our more successful efforts was 'Snow White and the Seven Martians' so there is definitely some mileage in your idea!

Thanks, Cecilia! I was a mite facetious. I co-wrote just such a story, and while it was a lot of fun to write, and my biggest fans grok what Paul and I were doing, it was a commercial flop. It flopped so hard, that the in-progress sequel is on hiatus.
If you're interested in checking it out, pick it up on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M07TXT2/), or just email me for a review copy.

I forgot about Almost Human. I loved that show!
How about John Carter? Reviews were bad, but I really enjoyed it.

I have that one.
I'm not a fan of the serialized nature of modern comics though. That one wasn't bad; it was only eight issues. But others go on for much longer. Ugh. I stopped buying, figuring I'd wait until the storyline finished and then buy the omnibus but then I just forget about them completely and haven't bought any in years.

I once contemplated writing a Rurouni Kenshin/Little House on the Prairie crossover fanfic. I didn't, which is probably just as well.
I have, however, in the course of my alternate life as a writer of Sailor Moon Dark Kingdom fanfic (the Dark Kingdom being the awesome bad guys from the first season), written Dark Kingdom crossovers with Jane Eyre, Little Women, and Barney and the Teletubbies.

I'm one of those that LOVED Stargate Universe, I'd love to see that picked up again. Leaving it the way they did was so frustrating!
I also like Sheriff Jody Mills from Supernatural, I wouldn't mind seeing a spin off with her as the star grint

there was a spin-off planned, called Sisters, or something like that. There was a back-door pilot in season 12. I don't think that it got green lit.

That's what Syfy does.

I just looked it up, it was 'Wayward Sisters'. Bummer that the network didn't go for it, Sheriffs Mills and Hanscum are the two I'd like to see in their own show. Not overly fussed on Claire Novack though..
ETA: Hmmm messed up that quote somehow :littleclap
{Fixed the quote. t.}
