What are your favorite promo sites for inexpensive promotions?
Right now I've got two planned--Booktastik ($10) and Fussy Librarian ($25).
And if you don't mind, could you also include the price of the book you promoted?
Also, did anyone break even on non-free books, or did you need sell-through for other titles?
Thanks. :smilie_zauber:

Nicholas Erik does a great review of promo sites on his blog. Some may be more specific to his genre, but I've found my experiments with promo sites to be fairly on course with his results. Here's a link:

I have broken even on non-Free $2.99 books on BookBub CPM ads. But I found them more work than was worth the effort. With KU books I have broken even fairly fast on 99-cent promos. On non-KU books I have only broken even at 99-cents on BookBub, newsletter swaps, and group promos.
For 99-cent KU books in fantasy and sci-fi I like Booksends / ENT / RobinReads / BookBarbarian / FKtips.
Free books I like all of the above plus Fussy, Freebooksy, ReadingDeals, EbookDiscovery, MyBookCave, BookDoggy, EreaderIQ, Riffle, ManyBooks, BookBasset, LoveKissed, and sometimes BookBasset.

Awesome info. Thanks--that was exactly what I was looking for. :)

Thanks for the info. Never heard of Booktastik or Love Kissed before. I'm taking my books wide and it's always good to hear about new opportunities to promote on all platforms.
