Wow--makes me wonder what the payoff is. As I used to be in the intelligence biz, and this involved an Israeli entity (among others), and the State of Israel and its citizens are often targets for those who hate the political entity, it makes me wonder if there's more involved than a few bucks that might be made from selling stolen ebooks.

I agree, David. My first thought when I read the article was that this looks like a practice run to get sensitive docs of real value. Seriously, if scammers think there are big bucks to be made in stealing manuscripts....well, I have a couple they can have for a small royalty share.  :hehe
