I come over here hoping someone has analyzed the September KU rate and find ... crickets? Can it be? Am I just not finding the thread?
(and also where is the "hmmm" smiley? you know the one that is pensively rubbing its chin.)

I mean come on, can you believe that payout ratio? What the heck Amazon? We should all just take our books out of KU and force Amazon to pay a fair wage. Unionize, my brothers and sisters!
There is a time when Kindle Unlimited becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part! And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop! And you've got to indicate to Amazon — that unless you're properly compensated, Kindle Unlimited will be prevented from working at all!

Chump change about sums it up. That's why I'm wide now. I'm still earning chump change but at least when I do a promo, I make my money back and a little more.
Decent payout this month. Borrowed books are still being read so I have a few pages on my report.

AFAIK the September rate is for reads that happened in September.

The rate is applied to a specific month. So the one announced the other day was for Sept. Sept gets paid at the end of Nov.

OMG Mind blown. I always wondered what a thinking ninja had been. Or karate or something, the hand always looked like a headband to me. Perspectives sometimes. :cool:
