Long Pre-Orders on Kobo / Apple / Nook / GooglePlay

Long pre-orders seem to work well on the small vendors where my email list doesn't reach my audience very well.

However, some of them give previews of preorder files. I am dyslexic and my rough drafts before the five rounds of edits they go through are a hot mess. However, paying for an edit, even for the first 20%, before I make content changes seems unwise. I am contemplating a run through Grammarly and a note at the very beginning advising of their status of being rough drafts, but I'm uncertain.

Thoughts?

I upload a blank file for preorders and update only when I have a final version. I do that myself on Amazon and Kobo and through D2D for Nook and Apple. Usually I add a single line at the beginning of the blank file stating when the book will be published.

Thank you so much for this!

I usually only have a placeholder file because I haven't even started on the preorder yet. And for the sites that don't require a preorder, I don't even load a placeholder file.
