Tried using this free tool this week. Seems handy. Courtesy of Kindlepreneur, Dave Chesson.

Uhm, not really a generator so much as it's an HTML formatting tool. I expected the generator to take my crap description and apply cutting-edge AI to make it a sure-fire attention-grabber with lots of eye-catching hyphens.

Instead I got this:

<p>The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. That's what was supposed to happen, anyway. When the Wolf Gang shows up and all hell breaks loose, will Foxy Jumper rise above it all? Or is his goose cooked? Find out today!</p>

YMMV.

I guess I could have been more specific, but I didn't know what else to call it:) I can't imagine a program that would actually generate a blurb for you. But I find HTML formatting to be hopelessly confusing and this made it easy for me to make a blurb with bold type and italics - which is similar to my more professional competition. That's why I thought it was useful.

NP at all. To be fair, it was called a "generator" which made me think of, say, random plot generators. The HTML formatter not useless, just mislabeled.

Your post reminded me of a blog post I read a while back by James Scott Bell that linked to this. It was pretty entertaining. https://killzoneblog.com/author/jimbell/page/3

You can still only use HTML in Author Central, right? Or have they changed that?
