So... I'm thinking of putting more effort into building my presence on Bookbub.
What has worked for you?
I was thinking of either
A. Running a Bookbub ads on my first in series, for non-Amazon stores.
B. Running a Rafflecopter with the entry option to follow me on Bookbub. (Prize: Signed paperback, Ulta gift card, plus Betsey Johnson purse.)
If you have any ideas or experience as far as building your Bookbub followers, I'm all ears!
I've used SFFBookbonanza BB builder and I liked it.
There are some people who do BB builders... I don't know, you have to check FB cross promo groups.
One thing that few people do that has worked for me is to create my own giveaway for a blog tour and include BB follow as one of the options. Of course, I also promoted it to my list, and gained some followers.
Right now I'm doing a Booksweeps BB builder and I have seen very little result. I can report back once the promo is over.
That's for gaining followers.
Oh, following and being followed by authors is good too. Some FB groups have BB follow posts, and you could even create one here. It increases follower count.
What's your BB profile?
I think ads can work to get some sales and read through. Not sure if they'll net you followers because the ad is not linked to the author profile (unlike a featured deal).
