Anyone use Riffle?
« on: October 23, 2019, 08:16:54 AM »
I think I used them a couple of times a few years ago, but either they didn't perform up to their pricing or something else happened because they aren't on my "useful" list. It's hard to get data on them other than a claim of 300K+ readers on their list. No stats, no average performance...nothing.

Anyone use them? If so, what genre? What are your thoughts?

Science Fiction is my game.

I use them now and again. Generally worth it for permafrees once or twice a year, get several hundred up to maybe 1000 downloads.

Is rifflebooks.com the site in question?  Because I just went there, and there's no info for authors wanting to submit books.  The FAQ link at the bottom of the page doesn't work.   :icon_think:

I've used them 3 times so far over the years, always happy with the results - used them for a two different free titles, one wide and the other KU. First time was nearly 2k downloads and the second around 900 from memory

Yeah they don't make it easy.

However, Google is your friend. Google "riffle submission" and once you get past the search engine trying to tell you you're saying "rifle submission" (not sure I want to know what that is) it yields this link:
