B&N hacked
« on: October 15, 2020, 12:26:41 PM »
Got this from Facebook, authors only sweet bookaholic. Email From B&N

"It is with the greatest regret we inform you that we were made aware on October 10, 2020 that Barnes & Noble had been the victim of a cybersecurity attack, which resulted in unauthorized and unlawful access to certain Barnes & Noble corporate systems.
We write now out of the greatest caution to let you know how this may have exposed some of the information we hold of your personal details."

I haven't had a direct account with them for years, but they still might have my CC number.

Tim, did I put this in the wrong place again?
Read The Swindler, a historical romance available at:

I just got this email. Apparently mainly address and email information--as if that's not important. B&N is saying that they did not access account information encrypted. Hopefully, not my bank account. :icon_eek:
