Ads on TikTok, anyone?

I've read an article today about TikTok growth and how it's becoming a new haven for advertising. Has anyone tried it for book promotion? What are your thoughts?

TikTok is not my cup of tea, but I believe they have a #BookTok.  Best of luck with the promotions!

I tried TikTok ADs several months ago without success. ADs which worked on platforms failed on TikTok. 

HOWEVER, there is now this: "#BookTok is the go-to hashtag for all content pertaining to books, reading, writing and everything in between. With book reviews, writing tips, plot reenactments of popular novels, and more, this corner of TikTok encourages and inspires others to enjoy literature in all of its forms."

It might be time to try again.

Paid ADs. 

Note, I fired up an Ad yesterday.  Overnight: ZERO impressions...


Correction - The detailed reporting is flawed. On the dashboard, which aggregates results, 167 click on 17,883 impressions. CPC: $0.155

Video ad.

After many hours of research, I opened a ticket. I am unable to figure out how to target #BookTok with the AD.
