KBoards is like an aircraft carrier. At the moment, WriterSanctum is like a speedboat.

Pretty sure it'll wax and wane, but it's a hell of a start.

Main plus point for me (notwithstanding all the T&S debacle over there) is that this is a writers' forum first and foremost. Not a child forum of something with a different focus.

And already a locked thread.

Also a thread that has been moved to the : Writer Sanctum News , but it is apparently off-limits to me?
So, there are secret rooms in the forum that I'm not allowed into?

They created a new area that you need to go to your groups to click on so you can access.

There are a lot of black cats in this forum. It's like they are talking to each other in this thread.

Full disclosure: I love cats.

I thought the same and I love all cats, but black cats are special.

634 now.

This rate of growth probably won't continue indefinitely, but, if nothing else, we have enough active users to be viable.

Given how many of the posters I already know, it would be easy to forget I'm not on Kboards.

Black cats are pretty awesome. My partner and I recently moved in together so we are now a happy family of 3 cats and one dog. My avatar.

:catrun A sure sign of a good forum.

Plus, when the forum was down for the update, I found the way to resolve the mess that was chapter 10 and then go on to finish chapters 11 and 12. So it's helpful when it's up and running, and it's helpful when it's not. Good job, forum.

Now, if I am jonesing for an answer to a question, I have to post it in both places.

Good spunk here, though, like Australia being founded by escaped prisoners, OSLT.

I really like the focus on this board and that it's organized. Thanks so much to Tim and to all who're sharing their knowledge.

It fit. I think the rebellion has formed a new republic:  :ws
