My last book in the Stopper series - Assassin -had a female baddy. She was the assassin & beat up on the good guy when they ran across each other and in the end nearly killed him. It turned out to be an interesting dynamic.

The one I’m just working on also has the villain who turns out to a woman. And it just struck me today why she was the baddy & it added an interesting wrinkle to the story.
