In completely unrelated news, Nick Saban has just announced the offering of a scholarship to an unconventional prospect.
"We're a little thin at receiver," Saban said at his weekly press conference, "and we've never been afraid to think outside the box when it comes to recruiting. So we made an offer to Beluga T. Whale of South Africa, and he accepted. We're flying him in on a C-130 as we speak. The whole coaching staff is excited about the unique skill set he brings to the table."
"Coach," asked reporter I. B. Lyon, "how do you plan to deal with the inherent challenges of fielding a marine mammal? For example, how do you plan to keep him from drying out?"
"Gatorade," Saban replied. "Lots and lots of Gatorade."
