Beer or wine?
« on: September 21, 2018, 04:50:32 AM »
I love a pint of Smithwick though sometimes I have to admit I like it a bit too much. :icon_lol:  So do you prefer wine or beer or something else?

Coffee!

(I don't drink alcohol. No reason, just never developed a taste for it when I was younger, and once I became a parent I was always driving the kids here and there.)

Bourbon.

German Weissen. Sanctions be darned, I can get it from two of our local, walking distance, stores, although the locals don't know about weissen and lemon. Wine, Massandrah Muskat Black or Inkerman Kagor. Nectar of the gods, all three of them.

Neither. I'm more of a wine cooler kind of guy. When I find myself at the American Legion or when doing the "drinks with authors" events, I always drink rum and coke.

Wine. Generally fruit wines (Red Ass Rhubarb from Prairie Berry. I'd mainline that stuff if I could). Or ciders. Otherwise I get massive headaches and all the fun is gone.

Milk, water, Sprite, and Gatorade.  I'm pretty sure I've hit upon the proper combination of those things to allow me to live forever.

Wine for me. I drink beer, too, but I have to be careful, because it tends to upset my stomach.

Wine! Smooth, full bodied and red - the wine, that is.  Love red wine.  Occasionally white, but mostly red.

Have also recently discovered salted caramel vodka - it sounds awful, but add some ice and it is absolutely delicious.

Another full-bodied red girl, here. Merlot for preference or a bottle of Beaune if you want to spoil me.

Also vodka, Tia Maria, and Jagermeister for medicinal purposes.

Cheers!

Wine over beer any day.

But I'll always prefer a well-made caiprinha or mimosa.

I'll have the occasional lambic (cherry or raspberry) or a shot or two of mead, but not much for wine or beer or hard liquor. Family history of alcoholism and have no interest in going down that road or tempting fate.

Coffee or water for me, but if I'm feeling especially frisky, a green smoothie will do. ;)

Rum.

Favourite is probably West Rock, but I also like Havana Club, Kraken and the like.

You guys want wine? People keep giving me wine, even though I don't drink it, and it's getting out of hand.

Crazy owl lady. I also occasionally write Fantasy books, but the owl is really all anyone cares about.
