AMS question

If I'm promoting a pre-order through AMS, will the AMS report show me how many pre-order sales I got because of it or will the sales numbers show up only once the book is live and the pre-orders are actually counted?  I recently started an ad that's been getting some clicks and I'm getting pre-orders too, but nothing is showing up in AMS under sales, so I want to kill the ad, but before I do it, I want to make sure it really isn't working.
