It's been like that for quite a while. I've resorted to using the VPN whenever I'm running a promo and need to make sure the UK price has changed.

Two weeks ago, I was still able to click through to the Amazon UK pages for my ebooks. I wasn't able to see pricing information, but I could see that the books are listed.

That is no longer the case.

Also, the reader who brought this problem to my attention tells me that she is in the UK accessing the Amazon UK storefront, and that none of my ebooks are listed as available. I have contacted KDP support, and their initial response appears to be just a variation on the standard boilerplate that the books are still available even though I can't see them.

This does appear to be a recent development.

I haven't been able to see mine without a VPN since at least last year, so welcome to the club. Your reader might not be lying, but she could well be confused or disingenuous. If she's using a non-British ISP or otherwise moving around the internet in ways the Zon interprets as being non-UK...
