I'm Emily, and I edit books from Portland, Oregon, in addition to my regular job with the world's largest indie bookstore.
I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in journalism and a focus on editing. I worked as a writer and editor for several major metropolitan newspapers before admitting that journalistic writing was not my true love -- it's fiction. Now I earn my living within the book industry, happily putting to use my extensive training in English along with my lifelong status as a certified book nerd.
I've edited and consulted on novels, novellas, and short stories in romance, erotica, literary fiction, horror, thriller, sci-fi, litRPG, and fantasy. Several have gone on to be bestsellers.
