Targeting?

So i've mentioned that i finally found some ams ads that are working. I'm selling well for me, but the read through on these new ads is much lower than i was seeing on my fb ads. I'm thinking some of it might be because my book is .99cents and people will take a chance reading something they normally wouldn't because it's cheap.

But i'm also worried that one or two of my targets are hitting the wrong audience. My problem is i don't know which one/s it is.

How do you refine your targeting?

I target solely by comparable author or by book title/ASIN.
