My (bad) experience with OHFB
« on: May 27, 2025, 08:53:47 AM »
I got a promo ad with OHFB and when the ad was accepted I got a confirmation email showing what my blurb for the book would look like and if I had any questions to contact them. Well, I noticed there was a typo in the blurb, so I contacted them right away asking for it to be corrected. Several days went by with no response. So I contacted them again about it. No response again. Then a couple days later the promo ran with the typo. I requested that they refund the ad price and they wrote back  saying they understood why I was upset and 'sorry for not responding to your previous emails' and they offered a free promo ad, but why accept? I figured. For them to ignore me again if there was an issue? So I disputed the charge with the credit card company.

I'm so sorry, Gregg. But I'd go ahead and use their free promo ad, but not buy any more of their services. Can't hurt.
